Reiko Mikami, a ghost sweeper whose job is to exorcise evil spirits and yokai, and her assistant, Tadao Yokoshima. This occult comedy depicts the daily slapstick chaos of these two characters, who act purely on their own desires, alongside the sensible but ghostly Okinu, as well as their battles against evil spirits and yokai. From the mid-point of the serialization, the story shifts its focus to the struggle against the fate surrounding Mikami and Yokoshima.
