土佐では、四国全体のスケバングループから“スケバン鉄仮面”として恐れられていた。幼い時から鉄仮面を被らされ、小・中・高と仮面のままで通学する[11]。その背景には、鎌倉の老人の息がかかっていることから鉄仮面での通学を余儀なくされた経緯がある中、麻宮サキを失ったことから暗闇指令の組織が次期・スケバン刑事候補を選抜中、部下である西脇によって2代目麻宮サキ候補として紹介され目を付けられる。
