Weather Update. A deep depression has formed in the Bay of Bengal near the equator. This intensified into a cyclonic storm today. The meteorological department has predicted that it is likely to move towards Tamil Nadu. It explained that its impact is expected to be felt in Tamil Nadu and also in southern Andhra Pradesh. It stated that there would be no impact on Telangana, although the intensity of the cold weather is likely to decrease.
