ORCAS HUNT BLUE SHARK IN INTENSE DISPLAY

A rare and intense wildlife moment was captured at sea as a family group of orcas fed on a blue shark following a successful hunt.
The video, filmed by wildlife expedition leader Evans Baudin off the coast of Baja California Sur, Mexico shows the orcas working together with precision.
The group is believed to be part of the larger Moctezuma pod, which has been observed on multiple occasions feeding on elasmobranch species in the Gulf of California, including blue sharks, thresher sharks, and rays.
Evans said the hunt reflects a behaviour that has been scientifically documented but is rarely witnessed so clearly.
