RUNNER RESCUES GOAT TRAPPED IN FENCE DURING RUN
WITH PIX AND VID

Watch as a runner on a training run in Australia stopped to rescue a goat that had become trapped in a fence, as nearby farm animals looked on.
Rob Pope, 47, from Liverpool, UK, was running in Australia when he heard a distressed bleat and realised the goat was stuck in a gate and unable to free itself.
As he approached, Pope jokingly nicknamed the goat “Idi” short for “idiot”, after the animal managed to get itself wedged in the fence.
Other animals, including alpacas, appeared to gather nearby as the rescue unfolded.
Once released, the goat immediately trotted away to get water.
The moment was captured on video and later shared online, where viewers praised Pope for stopping to help and putting himself at risk to free the animal.
Rob Pope said while appearing to talk to the animals: "I'm on a mercy mission. I’ve got a bit of a crowd. Don’t worry, I’m coming to save this guy called Idi.
“You just made me walk through some awfully long grass. I’m absolutely bricking it that I’m going to get bitten by a snake.
“ Go and get yourself a drink.
“I genuinely think he would have died then.
" Good deed for the day.
“I'm in a good mood now.“
One viewer said: “ You're a rock star. “
Another said: “ Fantastic work helping out. Who knows how long that little one was stuck there before you found them. Well done “
A third said: “ Well done for freeing Idi. “
