A terrifying accident was caught on camera late Thursday night in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar area. A speeding Skoda, driven by 42-year-old Derrick Tony, lost control and slammed into a restaurant wall on the busy 100 Feet Road.
What Happened: Around 11:35 PM, the car was traveling from 18th Main Road when the driver attempted a high-speed left turn. The vehicle jumped the road divider, veered across lanes, and narrowly missed a group of pedestrians before hitting a two-wheeler and crashing into the building.
The Aftermath: Police confirmed the driver was under the influence of alcohol. While the two-wheeler rider, Jabir Ahmed, sustained minor injuries and is in stable condition, a major tragedy was narrowly avoided. The Jeevan Bheema Nagar Traffic Police have registered a case and are investigating.
