On Saturday in Paris, political parties, trade unions, associations, and citizens from diverse sectors gathered to condemn U.S. aggression against Venezuela and Washington’s false arguments used to justify it. Hundreds of demonstrators rallied under the slogan “No to imperialism,” carrying banners and flags representing their organizations. Protesters denounced last week’s attack, during which President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores were kidnapped, and warned of the global threat posed by U.S. President Donald Trump’s interventionist policies. They stressed that after Venezuela, other countries and territories could also face military aggression.
