A high-voltage drama erupted in Indore’s Lasudia area on Thursday (08 Jan 2025) when a call center employee confronted and beat her supervisor on the street for alleged harassment and pressure to convert to Islam.
The Incident: A 33-year-old woman, who had worked at a call center for five years, alleged that her supervisor, Mohammad Abdul Salam, had been harassing her since November 2025. She claims he pressured her for friendship and even threatened her to convert to Islam, promising a "better future."
Forced to Quit: Fed up with the harassment, the victim resigned in December 2025. However, the accused allegedly continued to stalk her even during her notice period. On Thursday, when he grabbed her hand in public, she took matters into her own hands.
Bajrang Dal Involvement: The victim approached Bajrang Dal workers, who located the accused. In a fit of rage, the woman beat him with slippers in public. Police have arrested the accused and reportedly found objectionable chats on his phone.
