The Baltimore Ravens have made a shocking decision to fire John Harbaugh, and I think it's a HUGE MISTAKE. Let me explain why.
The Ravens were ONE reasonable field goal away from making the playoffs this season despite dealing with massive injuries all year long. This team was decimated by injuries and still competed. Firing Harbaugh after everything he's accomplished, including a Super Bowl championship, feels premature and potentially driven by a power struggle with Lamar Jackson.
Yes, they've had some playoff failures and frustrating moments, but Harbaugh is a proven winner who kept this team competitive under difficult circumstances. This decision could backfire badly for Baltimore.
PLUS: The Miami Dolphins fired Mike McDaniel. The Tua Tagovailoa injury situation ultimately cost him his job. McDaniel was brought in specifically to create an explosive offense, and while it worked early on, the offense regressed significantly. It's not entirely his fault—losing your franchise QB changes everything, but when you're hired to fix the offense, and it gets worse, that's hard to overcome.
