బంగాళాఖాతంలో ఏర్పడిన తీవ్ర వాయుగుండం శ్రీలంక సమీపంలో తీరం దాటినట్లు భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ (IMD) వెల్లడించింది. దీని ప్రభావంతో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో వాతావరణం ఒక్కసారిగా చల్లబడింది. నెల్లూరు, తిరుపతి, చిత్తూరుతో పాటు రాయలసీమలోని పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో మోస్తరు వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉంది. అటు రైతులు కోత దశలో ఉన్న పంటల విషయంలో జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that the deep depression formed in the Bay of Bengal has crossed the coast near Sri Lanka. Under its influence, temperatures across Andhra Pradesh have dropped significantly. Moderate rains are expected in Nellore, Tirupati, and Chittoor districts, as well as several parts of the Rayalaseema region. Officials have advised farmers to take necessary precautions regarding crops that are ready for harvest.
