Bodycam footage released by the Pierce County Sheriff's Office in Washington shows a dog flying through a windshield after a car crashed following a high-speed police chase. Authorities say the driver, a 39-year-old male, was accelerated to evade a traffic stop, crashing into an embankment after a 30-second pursuit. The large dog ejected from the windshield fled the scene, but was located by its owner, a 28-year-old woman who was a passenger during the crash. Officers found another dog behind the driver's seat after the incident. The driver was arrested and charged with DUI, second degree animal cruelty, driving with a suspended license, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Both dogs were reportedly okay following the crash.
