Govt targets 4.3% of GDP for infra spending — DBM chief
The government is working to meet its infrastructure target spending of 4.3 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) for this year, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) says on Jan. 13, 2026. In a press conference in Malacañang, Acting Budget Secretary Rolando Toledo expressed confidence there would be neither delays nor derailment in the infrastructure projects because there were no ghost projects in the 2026 national budget.
