A cheeky Christmas lesson took an unexpected turn when Santa delivered potatoes instead of toys and the recipient absolutely loved it.
The video, filmed by April Winterburn from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia shows five-year-old Millie opening her gift to find a box full of potatoes, intended as a playful response to her cheeky behavior.
Rather than being disappointed, Millie happily counts the potatoes with her mum, eleven in total before declaring it a great gift and proudly announcing that she loves potatoes.
The wholesome moment was shared on Instagram, with viewers laughing at how Santa’s plan completely backfired.
One user commented: “My mum gave my sister coal once. Thought it was the coolest gift, a hunk of black chalk to draw in the drive way with.”
