A local court has ordered the arrest of businessman Atong Ang and 17 others in connection with the disappearance of 19 cockfighters last seen in his cockpit in Sta. Cruz, Laguna.
The charges against Ang — kidnapping with homicide and kidnapping and serious illegal detention — are non-bailable.
Ang is set to appeal the ruling, which his camp calls premature and a violation of his constitutional rights.
