महाराष्ट्र निकाय चुनाव में बीजेपी और शिंदे गठबंधन ने अधिकांश नगर निगमों में शानदार जीत दर्ज की है. मुंबई समेत कई शहरों में बीजेपी सबसे बड़ी पार्टी बनी. वहीं, असदुद्दीन ओवैसी की AIMIM ने भी जबरदस्त प्रदर्शन किया, मालेगांव, संभाजीनगर और नांदेड़ जैसे शहरों में कई सीटें जीतीं. AIMIM के मजबूत प्रदर्शन ने महाविकास अघाड़ी को नुकसान पहुंचाया है.

AIMIM's strong performance has dealt a blow to the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance.
