In a historic move, India's aviation regulator DGCA has imposed a record fine of ₹22.20 crore on IndiGo airlines for massive flight disruptions and regulatory violations in December 2025. The regulator has also ordered the removal of a Senior VP and warned the CEO. The action follows an investigation into 2,500+ flight cancellations that affected over 3 lakh passengers.
