Denmark will continue diplomatic efforts with the United States to resolve the Greenland crisis, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said after a meeting in Oslo with Norwegian counterpart Espen Barth Eide.
Rasmussen emphasized the importance of dialogue free from social media pressure, reaffirming that Greenland — an autonomous Danish territory — is not for sale. The discussions also involve the European Union, while Rasmussen highlighted checks and balances in U.S. foreign policy beyond the president.
Meanwhile, Norway confirmed it will not tolerate pressure from allies and supports maintaining sovereign decisions.
