Dizon inspects Pavia flyover
Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon inspects the Aganan Flyover in Pavia, Iloilo, on Monday, Jan. 19, as the agency vowed to complete the unfinished flyover this year with an allocation of P229 million. Dizon said the DPWH will prioritize safety in completing the project, noting that they will get a foreign consultant to ensure that the new design for the flyover is structurally safe. The flyover started construction in 2019 but was suspended in October 2022 due to discrepancy in foundation design identified in soil tests.
