The Movement for Social Justice is hoping that the Zones of Special Operations Bill 2026 is rejected in the Senate.
According to MSJ Leader David Abdulah, it carries more serious implications in some cases than a State of Emergency, pertaining to an infringement on the rights of citizens, while requiring less of the checks and balances under an SoE to carry-out such operations.
