फाउंडेशन फॉर एविएशन सेफ्टी ने 12 जनवरी 2026 को अमेरिकी संसद में एक रिपोर्ट जमा की है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, एफएएस ने अपनी जांच में पाया कि एअर इंडिया का हिस्सा बनने के बाद से ही विमान में तकनीकी खराबियां आने लगी थीं। विमान में इंजीनियरिंग, गुणवत्ता और रखरखाव में काफी कमियां आ रहीं थीं। प्लेन में इलेक्ट्रॉनिक, सॉफ्टवेयर, सर्किट ब्रेकरों का बार-बार ट्रिप होना, खराब वायरिंग, शॉर्ट सर्किट, बिजली की आपूर्ति में कमी और पावर सिस्टम गर्म होने जैसी कई समस्याएं रिपोर्ट की जा चुकी थीं।
The Foundation for Aviation Safety submitted a report to the US Congress on 12 January 2026. According to media reports, the FAS in its investigation found that after becoming a part of Air India, the aircraft started experiencing technical problems. There were many shortcomings in the engineering, quality and maintenance of the aircraft. Many problems like electronics, software, frequent tripping of circuit breakers, bad wiring, short circuit, short circuit in power supply and heating of power system were reported in the plane.
