Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says it is difficult for Malaysia to express early support for a proposed "Gaza peace board" without clear and firm guarantees regarding the fate of the people of Palestine.
Speaking to reporters after Friday prayers in Bangi, Anwar emphasised that recognition of Palestinian rights, a halt to Israeli attacks, and restoration of humanitarian aid have yet to be ensured.
