Bull Angus – Free For All 1972 (USA, Hard Rock)

Recorded in the same studio and with the same producer, "Free For All" was still different from the debut. Firstly, the original material was overshadowed by other tracks—Stephen Stills' "City Boy" and George Harrison's "Savoy Truffle." Secondly, the band's sound was less heavy and more pop-oriented. As before, Mercury released only one promotional single ("Children of Our Dreams / Loving Till End") and, considering its mission accomplished, sent Bull Angus packing. The group immediately disbanded, but Frankie Previte's name resurfaced twice more in show business history: in the early 1980s, Frankie formed the AOR project "Franke & The Knockouts," and in 1987, he wrote the hit "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" for the film "Dirty Dancing."
