झारखंड के पश्चिमी सिंहभूम जिले में सुरक्षा बलों ने माओवादी नेटवर्क पर बड़ा दबाव बना दिया है।सारंडा जंगल में चल रहे Operation Megaburu के तहत 45 नक्सलियों को घेर लिया गया है।दो दिनों में 17 Hardcore नक्सलियों के शव बरामद किए गए हैं, जिनमें कई पर करोड़ों का इनाम घोषित था।इस अभियान में CRPF, झारखंड जगुआर, कोबरा बटालियन और जिला बल शामिल हैं।सूचना के मुताबिक बचे हुए नक्सली छोटे नागरा और किरिबुरू इलाके में फंसे हुए हैं।इनका नेतृत्व Politburo सदस्य मिसिर बेसरा कर रहा है।सुरक्षा बलों ने नक्सलियों के चारों ओर IED सुरक्षा घेरे बनाए हैं और भारी हथियारों से लैस नक्सलियों को रोकने की तैयारी की है।और Goilkera क्षेत्र अब पूरी तरह से नक्सल-मुक्त हो चुके हैं।केंद्र और राज्य सरकार मार्च 2026 तक झारखंड को नक्सल-मुक्त बनाने का लक्ष्य रख चुकी है।
Security forces in West Singhbhum, Jharkhand, have intensified operations against the Maoist network.Under Operation Megaburu, around 45 Maoists have been encircled in the dense Saranda forests.In the past two days, 17 Hardcore Maoists have been killed, several of whom were high-value targets with rewards worth crores.The operation involves CRPF, Jharkhand Jaguar, CoBRA battalion, and district police forces.Intelligence reports suggest the remaining Maoists are trapped near Chotanagra and Kiriburu areas.The group is reportedly led by Politburo member Misir Besra, a top strategist.Maoists have set up IED defenses around their positions and are armed with AK-47s, INSAS, and SLR rifles.and Goilkera areas have now been cleared of Maoist presence.The central and state governments aim to make Jharkhand Naxal-free by March 2026.
