Terence – An Eye For An Ear 1969 (Canada, Psychedelic, Pop Rock)
The studio project "An Eye For An Ear" was recorded in Toronto and New York and released in 1969 on the Decca label. The artist's full name is Terence Black (or Terry Black). Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, this young man scored his first hit at the age of fifteen, but back then he sang American rock 'n' roll and British beats. Six of his singles charted in Canada, and in 1966 he recorded the album "Black Plague," which became a cult classic in some circles. He was assisted in the studio by Richard Gael and Patrick Riccio II, who wrote all the material and worked on the arrangements. The 1969 album is not included in Black's discography. Some Black fans clearly overestimate his talent. His record is considered brilliant, and the track "Fool Amid The Traffic" is considered the best psychedelic track of all time... Incidentally, the album cover alludes to Black's political views, as he was a member of the Canadian Fabian Society. In his later years, Terry Black suffered from multiple sclerosis and died on June 28, 2009.
