Newly elected Kinabatangan MP Mohd Kurniawan Naim Moktar, who was took his oath as a member of the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Jan 27), described the mandate as a huge responsibility and voiced his determination to develop the infrastructure of his constituency.
The son of the incumbent, Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, who passed away on Dec 5 last year, won the Kinabatangan parliamentary by-election last Saturday with an increased majority of 14,214 votes in a three-cornered contest.
