Students at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities staged a walkout and rally to protest the presence of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on campus, citing growing fear and anxiety among students.
Chanting slogans like “ICE out” and “No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here,” demonstrators said recent immigration enforcement activity has made many students afraid to leave their homes or attend classes.
