The government has rolled out three key measures to keep housing affordable: capping the price of affordable homes at RM300,000, introducing income-based price mapping by state and district, and tightening oversight of housing projects through a digital monitoring system.
Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu told the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Jan 27) that the initiatives aim to align house prices with household incomes and improve early intervention in delayed or at-risk developments.
