Buc-ee’s will build a 76,000-square-foot travel center in Fort Pierce, Florida, marking a major addition along the state’s busiest I-95 corridor. The Buc-ee’s Fort Pierce travel center is planned with 120 fuel pumps, 18 EV charging stations, and a 778-space parking lot. Positioned along the Florida I-95 corridor, the site targets high traffic and tourism while competing with Love’s Travel Stops and Pilot Flying J.
Opening is projected for late 2027 or early 2028, with more than 175 jobs and tax revenue expected, alongside resident concerns about traffic and stormwater runoff. While Fort Pierce will be among the largest stores, Luling, Texas, remains the largest at 75,593 square feet. The project fits a broader expansion toward Ocala, Tallahassee, Ohio, and Arizona through 2031.
