When George learns that Elaine was trusted with Jerry’s mail, jealousy immediately sets in. To smooth things over, Jerry invents a task just for George—an urgent, highly specific responsibility involving flushing the toilet twice a day. George takes the assignment seriously, never questioning the logic, proving once again that Jerry knows exactly how to play him.
