The final rites of Maharashtra DCM Ajit Pawar, who died in a recent plane crash, were performed in Baramati. His daughter Supriya did not perform the last rites. A large number of supporters and admirers attended the ceremony held at the Vidya Pratishtha grounds in Baramati. Popularly known as 'Ajit Dada', his supporters chanted 'Ajit Dada Amar Rahe' as a mark of respect.
