In this video, I'll show how to increase virtual memory of Windows and how to change and set a custom paging file size on Windows. Increasing the virtual memory, and changing pagefile size, may be important to have a better performance and fully use all of the capabilities of the PC hardware, and in particular, of the memory.

1. Press the WINDOWS key or click on the WINDOWS icon
2. Write "sysdm.cpl"
3. Press ENTER key
4. Click on "Advanced" tab
5. On "Performance", click on "Settings"
6. Click on "Advanced"
7. In "Virtual Memory", click on "Change"
8. In "Automatically manage pagefile size of all units", uncheck the option, to be able to change it
9. If you have an SSD, make sure to choose the SSD
10. Click on "System-managed page file size"
11. Click on "Set"

If you want, you can set specific values for the pagefile size. However, most users should not use this option (unless you know what you are doing). I recommend to let the system manage the pagefile size, for most users.

After you are done,
12. Click on "OK"
13. Click on "OK" again
14. Click on "Apply"
15. Click on "OK"
16. Click on "OK" again
17. Restart your computer
