FIRE BRIGADE RESCUES OWL TRAPPED IN KITE STRING

A quick-thinking local helped save an owl after spotting it dangerously trapped in kite string and hanging upside down from an overhead wire.
The video, filmed by Amit Khairnar in Wakad, Pimpri Chinchwad, Maharashtra, India shows the owl struggling helplessly as the string tightly restricts its movement, causing it to flap desperately but unable to escape.
Realising the bird was in serious danger, Amit immediately contacted the fire brigade. Firefighters soon arrived and carefully worked together to free the owl without causing further injury.
After the rescue, the bird was taken to a veterinarian for medical treatment and observation.
The rescue effort was praised online, with viewers commending the teamwork and compassion shown toward the injured wildlife.
