Federal politicians are returning to canberra today with nationals leader David Littleproud set to face a spill motion. Central Queensland MP Colin Boyce says he's bringing the motion because he's frustrated about the nationals splitting from the coalition but admits he doesn't have the numbers. Meanwhile allies of Sussan Ley are trying to damp down speculation she'll face a spill this week, despite Western Australian MP Andrew Hastie clearing the way for a challenge from Angus Taylor.
