अमेरिका ने भारत पर लगे टैरिफ 25 फीसदी को घटाकर 18 फीसदी कर दिया है. डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने पीएम मोदी से फोन पर बात करने के कुछ ही देर बाद ही इसका ऐलान किया है. अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति ने ट्रुथ सोशल पर पोस्ट कर भारत और अमेरिका के बीच ट्रेड डील पर सहमति बनने की जानकारी दी. उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने तारीफ की और कहा कि भारत अब रूस से तेल नहीं खरीदेगा. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत अब ज्यादा तेल अमेरिकाा और वेनेजुएला से खरीदेगा.
The US has reduced the tariff on Indian goods from 25 percent to 18 percent. Donald Trump announced this shortly after speaking with Prime Minister Modi on the phone. The US President posted on Truth Social, confirming that an agreement had been reached on a trade deal between India and the United States. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stated that India would no longer buy oil from Russia. He added that India would now buy more oil from the US and Venezuela.
