Mumbai, Maharashtra: In an exclusive interview with IANS, music composer Uttam Singh spoke about the greatness of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar saying that every singer, music composer, director and actor had always wished to work with her. He shared his thoughts on being conferred with the Swarnim Dharohar Lata Mangeshkar Award on the occasion of Lata Mangeshkar’s death anniversary, which falls on 6th February. However, the award ceremony was held on 7th February in Raipur. During the interaction Uttam Singh also spoke about the A.R. Rahman controversy, Arijit Singh’s statement about retiring from playback singing and the trend of recreated music.
