Malaysia remains on a positive growth path, but economic gains must be felt by ordinary households, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Speaking at the Malaysia Economy Forum 2026 on Thursday (Feb 5), Anwar said the economy is on firmer footing, with GDP projected to grow about 4.9% in 2025 and inflation contained at 1.6%.
Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, added that investor confidence has improved as the government takes a firm and principled stance on governance.
