देशभर के Uber, Ola, Rapido और अन्य ऐप आधारित ड्राइवरों ने 7 फरवरी 2026 को “ऑल इंडिया ब्रेकडाउन” हड़ताल का ऐलान किया है। तेलंगाना गिग एंड प्लेटफॉर्म वर्कर्स यूनियन के नेतृत्व में यह आंदोलन न्यूनतम किराया न होने और ड्राइवरों की कमाई घटने के खिलाफ है। यूनियन की मांगें हैं—न्यूनतम बेस फेयर तय करना, पारदर्शी किराया प्रणाली बनाना, निजी वाहनों के व्यावसायिक इस्तेमाल पर नियंत्रण और ड्राइवरों की आजीविका की सुरक्षा। हड़ताल के कारण कैब और बाइक टैक्सी सेवाएं प्रभावित हो सकती हैं। यात्रियों को वैकल्पिक परिवहन योजना बनाने की सलाह दी जा रही है। यह हड़ताल गिग इकॉनॉमी के लिए महत्वपूर्ण साबित हो सकती है।
