World Interfaith Harmony Week February 2-7, 2026
Our world needs HARMONY the power to heal divisions and bring people together. This week, the UN observes World Interfaith Harmony Week, established in 2010 to promote understanding among all faiths and beliefs. This isn't just ceremonies it's a call to action for YOU to become a peacemaker. Our diversity isn't a problem; it's a blessing. When we open our hearts to learning from one another, ignorance becomes understanding, fear becomes friendship, and division becomes unity.
As Muslims, interfaith harmony is part of our faith. The Quran declares: "We created you peoples and tribes that you may KNOW one another" (49:13). Allah commands us to treat all people with kindness and justice (60:8), and reminds us "There shall be no compulsion in religion" (2:256). Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) exemplified this—making peace treaties, protecting places of worship, and honoring all human souls.

2. CONNECT with someone of a different faith
3. SPEAK UP against hatred and discrimination
