Predictive Reference To Schwarzenegger, Gibson & The Expendables In 1988 Arcade Game Ninja Gaiden?

Part 3 - Some of the future actors who worked with Mel Gibson may be hinted throughout the 1988 TECMO arcade video game Ninja Gaiden. Your anchor to Gibson possibly being the presence of an enemy tag team duo of fighters modeled on the former pro wrestlers The Road Warriors (that was also the title to Mad Max 2 ('81) which starred the actor).

- The theme music for the fighting duo based on The Road Warriors wrestlers is apparently inspired by rock group Black Sabbath's 1970 song Iron Man.
- A large poster can be seen on a brick wall halfway through stage 1. The image is clearly inspired by the poster for the 1987 sci-fi action film Predator which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. Gibson appeared with him and an ensemble cast of American and international action stars in The Expendables 3 in 2014.
- An image of a scorpion can be seen to the left and below the above poster. Dolph Lundgren of The Expendables played a Russian special forces solider in the 1988 action film Red Scorpion. The scorpion also appeared on the jacket of the El Mariachi character played by Antonio Banderas (also in The Expendables) in Desperado (1995).
- A hint to the movie title "The Expendables" (released 22 years following this arcade game) may be discernable via signage that hangs over one of the storefronts in Round 1. The word is not easily read in arcade version but the Atari Lynx port reveals this as: "SILVERINK". Ink is associated with a PEN which is a writing instrument.
