SNOW LEOPARD HUNTS DOWN IBEX ON STEEP MOUNTAIN SLOPE

A snow leopard is seen hunting and attempting to bring down an ibex on a steep mountainside in India’s Spiti region.
Jagritee Prasad, from Hyderabad, India, captured the rare footage showing the snow leopard slowly stalking a group of ibex across a high-altitude slope.
The predator then lunges forward, gripping one ibex by the neck as both animals begin descending the mountain.
The video shows the leopard maintaining its hold as they move down the rocky, snow-covered terrain.
However, the Ibex just about manages to escape.
Viewers reacted strongly to the rare sighting.
One commented: “Once in a lifetime experience.”
Another added: “Where silence meets the predator’s grace.”
