A Lunar New Year lantern show, which opened at Beijing's Yuanmingyuan Park on Feb 10, has attracted Chinese and foreign tourists alike eager to experience the festive atmosphere during the Spring Festival which begins on Feb 17.
Several other cities including Dalian, Qingdao, Lanzhou and Taizhou also have lantern shows incorporating modern technologies to welcome the arrival of the Year of the Horse.
