उत्तर भारत में अगले 16 से 18 फरवरी तक भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। खासकर उत्तर प्रदेश, हरियाणा, पंजाब, उत्तराखंड, हिमाचल प्रदेश, जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख में मध्यम से भारी बारिश की संभावना है। मौसम विभाग ने तेज हवा, गरज‑चमक और आकाशीय बिजली गिरने की चेतावनी भी दी है। 23 जिलों में घना कोहरा होने से सुबह के समय वाहन चलाना जोखिमपूर्ण हो सकता है। पहाड़ी राज्यों में यात्रा करने वाले लोगों के लिए विशेष चेतावनी है। तापमान में अगले सप्ताह 2 से 3 डिग्री सेल्सियस की बढ़ोतरी होने का अनुमान है। ठंड लगभग खत्म हो चुकी है, लेकिन बारिश की वजह से मौसम फिर से ठंडा और परेशान करने वाला हो सकता है। लोग सुरक्षित रहने और यात्रा से पहले मौसम अपडेट चेक करने की सलाह दी जा रही है।
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for North India from February 16 to 18.
