Checkout this huge avalanche that breaks free and races down the mountainside in the Valleile area near Cogne, Italy.
Adrià Feiner Prat, from Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain, filmed the event from a safe position across the valley above the well-known icefalls in Lillaz.
The footage shows a large section of snow suddenly collapsing from the steep face before accelerating rapidly downhill.
A dense powder cloud forms behind the moving mass, spreading across the rocky slope and surrounding forest as it travels through the valley.
Viewers reacted with awe and caution.
