Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad told the media after officiating the national-level Ramadan bazaar food safety kick-off ceremony in Selangor on Saturday (Feb 21) that enforcement action can be taken against premises that violate provisions under the Food Act.
He said the actions include the imposition of compounds or closure of premises to ensure consumer safety throughout the month of Ramadan.
