The suspension of several Human Resources Development Corporation (HRD Corp) members is not a “clean-up” exercise, says Human Resources Minister R. Ramanan.
Speaking on Monday (Feb 23), Ramanan stressed that restructuring is aimed at strengthening governance, with only qualified individuals to be appointed — regardless of political affiliation.
He added that ongoing investigations into alleged misconduct involving the suspended members must conclude before reforms are implemented.
