Employees के लिए बड़ी खुशखबरी है। EPFO ने 31 लाख निष्क्रिय PF Accounts में जमा राशि लौटाने का बड़ा फैसला लिया है। इनमें लगभग 11,000 करोड़ रुपए जमा हैं। पहले चरण में 7.11 लाख खाते, जिनमें 1000 रुपए से कम राशि है, सीधे बैंक खाते में रिफंड होंगे।दूसर चरण में बाकी 25 लाख निष्क्रिय खातों की राशि आसान प्रक्रिया से खाताधारकों को वापस की जाएगी। इसमें आधार लिंक बैंक खाते की प्रक्रिया अपनाई जाएगी और जरूरत पड़ने पर नॉमिनी या आश्रित उत्तराधिकारी की पहचान कर पैसा लौटाया जाएगा।ईपीएफओ इस कदम के जरिए निष्क्रिय खातों का बोझ भी खत्म करना चाहता है। श्रम मंत्रालय ने कहा कि यह राशि सदस्यों की है, इसे सरकार जब्त नहीं कर सकती।

EPFO has announced a major decision to refund money in 31 lakh inactive PF accounts, holding nearly ₹11,000 crore.nthe first phase, 7.11 lakh accounts with less than ₹1,000 will receive the refund directly in their bank accounts.In the second phase, the remaining 25 lakh inactive accounts will get their money through simplified procedures.The process will use Aadhaar-linked bank accounts, and in case of deceased account holders, nominees or legal heirs will receive the funds.Through this initiative, EPFO aims to reduce the burden of inactive accounts while ensuring members’ money is safely returned.The labor ministry clarified that these funds belong to members and cannot be claimed by the government.
