Stained Glass — Crazy Horse Roads 1968 (USA, Psychedelic Rock)

The rock trio Stained Glass formed in San Jose, California, in 1966. Songwriter and bassist Jim McPherson, guitarist Bob Rominger, and drummer Dennis Carrasco, having begun their career performing Beatles covers, quickly transitioned to their own material and signed with RCA Records. Their debut recording was a single featuring the title track, "If I Needed Someone," a Fab Four cover. Their next single, "My Buddy Sin," was a commercial success, and "We Got A Long Way To Go," released in the spring of 1967, became a local hit. They soon recorded another 45, "A Scene In Between," but it was clear the band was unable to break into the national charts, and RCA dropped the band. Stained Glass immediately signed with Capitol and in mid-1968 their new work, Lady In Lace / Soap And Turkey, went on sale. Early the following year, their debut full-length, Crazy Horse Roads, was released...
