The Chief Engineer of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has committed suicide in Bengaluru. The incident occurred just 20 days after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a raid at his residence in connection with a corruption probe. The ED officials had summoned him for questioning today, but he took the extreme step before appearing for the interrogation.
