सुप्रीम कोर्ट (Supreme Court) में बुधवार को एक बड़ा विवाद खड़ा हो गया है। मामला कक्षा 8 की नई NCERT सोशल साइंस की किताब (NCERT Social Science Book) से जुड़ा है। इस किताब में 'न्यायपालिका में भ्रष्टाचार' (Corruption in Judiciary) को लेकर कुछ ऐसा लिखा गया है, जिस पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कड़ी आपत्ति जताई है और केंद्र सरकार को आड़े हाथों लिया है।
प्रधान न्यायाधीश (CJI) सूर्यकांत की अगुवाई वाली बेंच ने इस मामले पर स्वतः संज्ञान (Suo Motu) लेते हुए इसे बेहद "गंभीर चिंता का विषय" बताया है। कोर्ट रूम में मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान CJI काफी नाराज नजर आए और उन्होंने इस तरह के कंटेंट को पब्लिश करने को लेकर जमकर फटकार लगाई।
CJI ने बेहद सख्त लहजे में कहा कि वह किसी को भी न्यायपालिका जैसी सर्वोच्च संस्था को बदनाम करने की अनुमति नहीं देंगे। उन्होंने इस घटना को एक "सोचा-समझा कदम" (Deliberate act) करार दिया है और स्पष्ट किया है कि कानून इस मामले में अपना काम करेगा। जानिए इस वीडियो में कि आखिर NCERT की किताब के उन पन्नों में ऐसा क्या लिखा था जिसने देश की सर्वोच्च अदालत को इतना नाराज कर दिया।
