The Andhra Pradesh government has taken another key step in the free bus travel scheme. Till now, this scheme, which was limited to women and transgenders, has now been extended to the disabled under the name of 'Indradhanussu' scheme. With this, thousands of disabled men in the state will also get free travel facility.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం ఉచిత బస్సు ప్రయాణ పథకంలో మరో కీలక అడుగు వేసింది. ఇప్పటి వరకు మహిళలు, ట్రాన్స్జెండర్లకు మాత్రమే పరిమితమైన ఈ పథకాన్ని, ఇప్పుడు 'ఇంద్రధనుస్సు' పథకం పేరుతో దివ్యాంగులకు కూడా వర్తింపజేస్తూ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. దీనివల్ల రాష్ట్రంలోని వేలాది మంది దివ్యాంగ పురుషులకు కూడా ఉచిత ప్రయాణ సౌకర్యం లభించనుంది.
